These past 3 weeks of RBI teachings and downloads of the Holy Ghost and Fire has been indescribably supernatural.
I did not know if I was going to make it to school this year, but then in the last minute I finally got a breakthrough getting a job with a wonderful group of people. They worked around my hours, being that I told them that I was attending RBI, but the hours are steady. I am still having to trust God for one more thing; my transportation, but I am following after peace knowing he will make away. I’m learning to lean on spirit when wrestling with my mind, as it keeps telling me that I am incapable of doing the things set before me; never done that, never gone there, you will never do it. Then the Spirit of God roused within me and says; when you are weak, I am strong. That he will complete me in every area of doubt, insecurity, fear and my inabilities. I said wow Lord, there would be very little of me left. It will only be you, hallelujah. Thank you Jesus, thank you Heavenly father and thank you Holy Spirit.
The two weeks of the orientation revival at the revival weed of the bible school, something happen to me, I felt like something was lifting off of me. I felt like a lite large butterfly floating in the air getting free so I” felt I had to surrender all the way, I never felt like that before. God opened my eyes, I started to see things differently. The anointing was very heavy on me. Than one morning the lord the Lord broke out with the offering at the altar, Dr Rodney obeyed God about the offering , the students were coming to the altar putting all types of items on the altar.
I felt something drop in my spirit, I did not feel like the same person. I was shaking and crying, tears were running down my face and I couldn’t stop. God was touching me to give up the rings on my finger. I really love those rings, I pulled them off quickly, then I took the watch off my wrist, I could not help myself, then I ran back to the altar with my jubilee seed, then ran home to get more stuff. I felt like I was getting free, these two weeks of rival week put a very big change in my life. I grew up in the church, I went to a lot of churches. I never been to a church like this in my life.
Since 2007 I have been coming here I started to grow more and more each day, one morning I had a dream. That Jesus was carrying the cross on his back. I ask. Lord what are you trying to show me? So he gave me a project to do on salvation. So I went to office Depoe and it was about hittin the street day and knight.I remember you and your wife prayed for me over the phone in 2004. You had asked for my pray request, and my pray request was to move back to Tampa, and you told me that everything I ask for was going to come to pass.
As the first day of school began and the first week of revival, I continued to trust in the all mighty Lord and entrust all my faith upon him. I must admit the first two weeks of class it was very difficult for me, not s much because the work that would be involved but simply because there were things that were taking place that I was not use to seeing such as curtain ways that they praised God and worshiped, ways that the collected the offering, and just overall the way things were ran.
But as a minister used by God once said to me “sometimes those feelings of discomfort are not from the devil, they are just Gods way of pulling us out of our comfort zone and remolding us to the way and standards of the Lord”. After hearing those words echo in my head I realized that it truly was in Gods plan for me to be attending the RBI school and that it is through the school which God is going to mold e into the servant and soldier that he truly needs for his army to go out to the different nations and shake the corners of the globe with his mighty word and anointing through the knowledge that the Holy Spirit will help me acquire through this excellent school…..Luis S.
The last two days have been amazing! I think it would be safe to say that The River at Tampa Bay Church is a soul winners paradise. Sunday morning I almost came unglued when Pastor Rodney shared about the group of men who were in someones home watching football and when the game was over, while channel surfing, they stopped on the broadcast of our evening meeting. One of the men called the ministry to ask us to please explain what just happened to his three friends who were rolling on the floor laughing and crying.
Then, on Sunday evening I helped out in the phone room taking calls from people throughout the nation and around the world. The phones rang off the wall! There are so many hungry and hurting people out there. I led seven people to the Lord and prayed for an eighty-one year old grandmother who had sore knees. All the soreness left and she begin bending her knees and walking around the house praising God for what He had done for her.
Today I took a team soul winning in a very depressed neighborhood. Three people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. A man who had just gotten home from the emergency room was in so much pain he could hardly walk. We led him to the Lord and prayed for him. All the pain left his back. He was amazed. He said, “Now I can go back to work.” In only two hours we went door to door preaching the Gospel and prayed the prayer of salvation with seventy-six people. These are the days that were just a prayer and a dream only a few years ago. How awesome is our God! -Mary F
I have had an awesome experience so far at RBI; God has been doing some amazing things in my life and through my life so far and I Know that it is only going to get better. I just want to share a quick testimony of how God used me in the call center last night. I was fired up to get on the phones and was expecting God to show up and do some amazing things. I had a sweet lady from Jamaica who called needing prayer for an oppressive spirit that had been showing up in her bed room every night at 4 A.M. At first when this precious woman shared this with me I was a little taken back.
I had to completely trust God that He would show up and run these demons back to the pits of Hell! I began to pray in the Spirit, and build my self up; then I then began to pray and read the script and command every foul spirit to take their hands off this woman’s heart, soul, and mind. I shared with this lady what the Word said about the authority we have in Christ Jesus and that she has the authority to command these foul spirits to take there hands off of her.
This precious woman began to speak in unknown tongues and was set free and delivered right then from the power of Satan. I thank God for RBI and the impartation they we as students are getting from Pastor Rodney and the staff here. God is working through Pastor Rodney and RBI to raise up world-shakers for the kingdom of God. I am so excited to just be a part of what God is doing in and through this Bible school. I cannot wait to see the finished product of myself and different students that God is raising up to turn this nation upside down by the power of the Holy Spirit. -Mark T
Another awesome week here in Tampa. The most amazing testimony I have for this week is that I got my cousin Adam saved with the script who was on duty as a pilot in Richmond Virginia at the time. I was able to pray with him for him and his relationship and his son and baby that is on the way for long and healthy lives and that him and his girlfriend get married and it was just such a relief to me because I got over the fear part of talking and praying with him and it had amazing results and that to me is the hardest person out of my whole family to talk with so now I have no fear to get the rest of my family saved and it is like a fire in my belly when in my mind the hardest person accepted and was totally open and how the Holy Spirit works on certain individuals at the perfect time and gets through to them. It is an amazing gift to preach the gospel to the lost when you get a true revelation what it is all about.
I love doing it now. Back before I came here I would have never thought that I would. God is awesome and doing great things here on earth before He wraps it all up and we the Church are in forever peace and Joy with Him. It is such a blessing to be here even though I get a little lonely at times I know God has Great things in store for me and my family and I believe I’m going to be used to break through every one of their hard hearts and get them saved by the great love that I have within me which is Jesus Christ. The helps ministries are the greatest thing that could have ever happened to me because it is breaking me out of one of my weakest areas in communicating with other people and reaching out and breaking off my fear and nervousness. Back in Jonathan Edwards time, during The Great Awakening, people’s hearts were turned to Christ. Young men and women were so saturated by the power of God and hungry for the things of God that everyone around got set ablaze. Revival had spread from city to city, I am seeing that in our young people and youth. Especially here at The River, they are the most on fire and radical young people.
They don’t care and they don’t have any reputation to try to uphold. What I am experiencing now is people calling in for prayer from all walks of life and by the time we finish praying we see the Holy Spirit taking over and peoples lives getting transformed and changed by the power of God. I am seeing people that are hungry and thirsty for the things of God. This nation needs a touch from God more than ever before. Government cannot change this nation and religion cannot change this nation. It is time to bring prayer to our schools, and to our courts. America needs to raise a standard.
God is willing that America will get saved. It is up to us to light a fire across this nation. One person full of the fire of God can do a lot of damage to the camp of the enemy. This is our mandate young and old to light the fire across this nation. I believe that everyone of us has a sphere of influence that you can reach. It is our responsibility to plunder hell and to populate Heaven. God is on the move and we are moving with Him. Praise God. –Gerard K.
I’m so grateful for the power of God showing up on each and every phone call I answer. The Holy Spirit consistently shows up and does a work in each persons’ life that I pray for, God is so good, and so amazing, I am grateful to be a daughter of the king. This week has been a busy one, but praise God I am making it through only by His power and strength! The Lord has begun to soften my heart in such an extreme way, it’s been powerful and He has been changing me more than I could ever have imagined. He is taking off bondages, as I allow the Holy Spirit to work in me and through me.
Thank you Jesus for teaching me and showing me of your ways that I may be a leader, as I fallow your lead. Praying on the phone has taught me to pray powerfully and reach directly into the heart of a person with the sword that God has given us all! I am so grateful to be apart of such a wonderful move of God, Peoples’ lives are being affected and changed permanently, people are being saved, set free and filled with the Holy Ghost, set free of bondage’s, healed of all sickness and disease, the bible was not just history it’s the truth and it’s for right now! The reality of His word is powerful and it’s the only way people will truly experience The fire of God in their lives. Many times when I’m doing the phones people ask me to pray for the fire of God on them. And praise God I PRAY IT DOWN AMEN! -Sandra J.
The Great Awakening has been an amazing experience; the first night I was here I got to do phones which were really amazing. So many people had prayer requests, they sought guidance from the Lord in different areas of their lives, and it’s really cool to think about how many people seek the Lord all around the world. God speaks to them, on the other side of the world, just like He speaks to me and you. The power of God has been so prevalent to me in these past few hours. Not only has he given me a joy in my heart, but a deeper understanding of perfection in His eyes, and the power that is within each of us as believers. We have no idea what we are empowered with when the spirit of God lives on the inside of us, it’s a light that can only create more light, which spreads through us all. I have sought God these past six months with diligence, and although it is not easy, His presence empowers me to continue on with seeking Him. The Lord has been teaching me character, which is not a reflection of personality, but a reflection of sticking to my guns and doing exactly what He has called me to, not fainting or growing wearing in well doing, because we always sow what we reap. God has guided me, and continued to reveal to me through the Holy Spirit, truths that I could not otherwise understand nor comprehend. I seek to please God; I seek to worship Him and give Him honor and reflect Him in everything I do. The joy of the Lord is my strength and what carries me through the days and especially through the nights. He is the reason for my victory, for my joy, and for my peace.-Sandra J.
Just months ago, I would have told myself I was a fool. I would have told myself that I was wrong and why I was wrong. I would have given myself evidence upon evidence to attempt to denounce my faith. I would have disregarded myself. I would have disregarded God. I was lost, and broken. I had no intentions of ever being saved and I could be quoted of saying. “I found the capacity for faith to be disgusting.” I don’t say this because I like shock value. I say this so that you can truly understand what someone can be delivered from, and be changed into, just with one touch from God. One touch from God. With that one touch, we can become changed entirely, stripped down and rebuilt, we can see the call that God has placed on all of our lives, we can become aware of how important we all are to the kingdom of Heaven. Within that Love we find Purpose, a greater defining line that says “cross me,” a reason to continue, to aspire. Within His Grace we find reason, patience love and kindness. Without that touch, just that first touch from God, I would have never been who I am today. Just the other night during worship, I stopped, I turned around and looked at all the people I was surrounded by, I stopped and looked at the body of Christ as a whole and thought, “how did I get here, from where I am, to now?” Simply put, that one touch from God. My life has changed, I’ve seen lives around me change, I’ve seen blessing upon blessing bestowed upon good and faithful servants of the Lord most high. I’ve seen in just a few months the change in things around me at home. I’ve seen my family become structured once more, I’ve seen my family truly proud of me for the first time ever, and I’ve felt love for my family that I never knew I had. God made Himself real to me, and showed me an unrelenting love that gave me proof he was real, ever since that day I’ve never needed any more reassurance of his omnipresent existence. A person doesn’t come up to you, introduce themselves to you, save your life, and then you don’t look back a few days later and pretend they never existed and it was all emotion, so why would you with God? He has something great for you and your loved ones if you’re just willing to accept it. -Kody G.
